Fostering Development and Education through Community

Our Founding Donors

The First Month in our New Space!

Hi guys!

2020 has started with a bang for the Columbia Valley Makerspace Society and we’ve only just begun! First, we’d like to thank the community for all the support for the last 3 years. Without the generosity of countless people, businesses and of course our sponsors we wouldn’t be where we are today. And just, where are we?!

In our very own space, that’s where!

Since the beginning (2017) it has always been a major goal for the founders Brian and Jayson to have a physical space. A lot of time, passionate people, and the community made this possible. Now we are a month in and its starting to feel like home for the Makerspace. We still have some work and organizing to do, but it is set up and ready for use! We have a lot planned for this year and we still need your help to make this a reality. This month we have created a space ready for events and general use, established and re-launched our membership page and are in the beginning stages of updating the website to reflect all that is new for this year! We are a membership and donation driven non-profit that lives and breathes with the passionate people that are apart of it!

One goal met comes new goals to reach!

The Columbia Valley Makerspace Society plans to begin the process of reaching out to the outlying communities around our home office within five years. Implementing one satellite makerspace in each community to provide our programs and services to the youth as well as business entrepreneurs alike. Closing the gaps between us and the communities in need. We have our mobile makerspace to bring to events and now we have our home base. Next, is to make sure we have remote makerspace stations for surrounding communities. The valley is full of creative people with innovative ideas and we want our Columbia Valley Makerspace to be a home where their ideas flourish! Providing resources and tools they may not necessarily have access to.

How can you help?

Donate- If membership isn’t for you, or you don’t have the time to utilize the Makerspace in its entirety but believe in our cause then perhaps donating or writing a letter of support is a way you can help! Every little bit helps and even a letter of support means so much knowing we have people in our corner supporting what we do! Click here to support us!
  3. Sign up to volunteer! We would not be where we are today if it weren’t for the hardworking volunteers that help us at events and the makerspace! If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer contact us:
